Srinagar: Independent MLA Engineer Rasheed said that whenever he speaks truth in the State Assembly, he is being attacked by the lawmakers of BJP and PDP. He said that basically this coalition government is the real protected terrorists and the people must know that government of India cannot do anything in Kashmir like other States and the GST logjam has proved that New Delhi is forced to listen to the lawmakers of Jammu and Kashmir for the implementation of the same. He said that when he was speaking on GST in the State Assembly, BJP and PDP lawmakers were shouting that Engineer Rasheed should be hanged in Lal Chowk. He said that Jammu and Kashmir is a dispute and it is not any other State of India and the GST debate has proved this point.

 Lambasting the PDP-BJP government, he said that they were the real protected terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir and people like Burhan Wani are the victims. He said that Modi must understand the ground realities of Kashmir and should stop trying to muzzle the people of Kashmir by guns and by pellets. He told media that the government of India will have to address the Kashmir dispute and people of Kashmir would never succumb to their pressure. He said that if the Central Government will not understand the writing on the wall even today it would be late for them.
