KTMF calls for shutdown on July 1 against GST extension

Srinagar: Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers (KTMF) said that if the Goods and Services Tax (GST) is extended to the state without amendments, it will shutdown business and trade units as a protest.

KTMF president Bashir Ahmad Rather has called for the shutdown on July 1 when the GST is rolled out across the country.

Hilal Ahmad, the general secretary of KTMF and President of the Kashmir United Automobiles Federation, Hilal Ahmad Mandoo, told KNS the president has called for the shutdown.
