CRPF jawan killed 2 others injured in militant attack at Pantha chowk
A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man was killed and another two injured after militants attacked their vehicle in Pantha Chowk area of Srinagar – summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. An official said that two troopers were injured after militants opened indiscriminate fire on their vehicle.
The deceased has been identified as sub-inspector with 29 BN CRPF.
He said that contingents of police, CRPF and army have cordoned off the area to nab the attackers.
