Downtown on boil after Friday prayers
Downtown witnessed pitched battles between stone pelting youth and police after Friday prayers. Police said that they used force after grave provocation by the youth.
However reports said that police and security forces were trying to stop the people to march in Nowhatta Chowk after the prayers. when the youth refused to disperse. Police used tearsmoke shells and other means of force to disperse them.
