Mobile services snapped in north Kashmir after encounter.

Mobile phone services were barred in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday after the killing of two Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militants in an encounter with government forces.

The two militants – residents of Bomai and Brath Kalan villages of Sopore – were killed in a brief operation by a joint party of police and army in Nathipora village early today.An official said that the measure was taken to “prevent law and order situation” following the killing of two militants.
