Kishtwar shuts against civilian killing .
Kistwar: Muslim in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday observed a complete shutdown against the killing of a civilian by government forces near the site of a gunfight on Saturday.
Two militants, including Hizb commander Sabzar Bhat, were killed in the encounter, which triggered protests across Kashmir valley.
Majority of the business establishments, educational institutions and offices across the district remained closed while public transport was remained off the roads.
The call for strike was issued by Imam Jamia Masjid Kishtwar, Farooq Ahmed Kitchloo to protest the killing of the civilian.
Official work also remained affected in government offices and banks.
