Tral gunfight continues as people trying to break cordon
After the brief encounter on Friday night. Militants escaped from the area. However army and security forces cordoned Saimouh village during night and when people resisted they allegedly set ablaze house of a civilian identified as Adul Rashid.
On Saturday morning within the cordoned area militants opened fire trying to break the cordon. The gunfight is going on and reports said that people from the adjacent villages including Rathsun were trying to march to the encounter site.however police and security forces were using teargas shells to chase them away.
Latest news from the area suggest that three militants were trapped in the area including SabzarAhmad a prominent militant from Burhan wani group.
