Month long ban on social media lifted
The government of Jammu and Kashmir state has lifted the month long ban on social media networking sites. According to reports quoting state home secretary R K Goel the government on Friday evening has lifted the ban.
The ban was imposed on more than 27 social networking sites in kashmir on the inputs of intelligence agencies that these sites were being used for inciting street protests and violence.
