Human sheild major was awarded by army chief on spot
The controversial army major Tarun Gogoi who tied a civilian with the bonnet of his jeep, sending him in depression, was awarded on spot by army chief Bipin Rawat when he visited kashmir on May 1and2, reports Indian Express.
In its report the newspaper has revealed that Bipin Rawat announced that award at Badami bagh contonment, praising Major Gogoi for his courage during anti militancy operations in Kashmir.
Army award to Major Gogoi has been supported by BJP and Co author of agenda of alliance Ram Madhav has said that every thing is fair in love and war
However IGP kashmir Muneer Khan has said that FIR against the Major Gogoi will remain and they will proceed with their investigation.
