Cop critical after hit by stone.
A constable of Jammu and Kashmir police was critically injured after some youth pelted stones at a police vehicle on Batagund-Khanqah road near Midoora in Awantipora tehsil of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district Wednesday night, police said.
An official said that a constable, identified as Reyaz Ahmad, was hit by a stone on his head when “miscreants” pelted stones on police vehicle last night.
Ahmad was shifted to SKIMS Soura where his condition is stated to be critical.
