Pellets return to Shopian operation called off
Several people received pellet injures as intense clashes broke out inside and outside the cordon laid by army on Wednesday at haeff and Shirmal villages of Shopian.
Latest reports from the area suggest that about dozen youth received pellet injuries and Army was forced to call off the search operation as they faced stiff resistance from the villagers. Large number of people including women and children today took to streets and the vehicles of security forces came under intense stone pelting after they were going back to their camps.
