Gandhi Memorial College erupts again.
The students of Gandhi Memorial College Srinagar and MPML higher secondary school Baba Demb on Thursday clashed with forces outside the college premises, reports said.
Reportedly the students of the two institutions started marching on the main road demanding the release of their colleague who was arrested yesterday during the clashes. The protest march took ugly turn when there was faceoff between police and protesters.According to reports, police used tear smoke, pepper gas shells to disperse the protesting students who kept pelting stones and bricks on the forces. Clashes were going on in the area when reports last came in.
