Cordon protests in Shopian
Army and other security wings along with SoG of Jammu and Kashmir police have ringed haeff and Shirmal villages of Shopian on Wednesday, local authorities and the public said that army during wee hours of Wednesday cordoned off these villages.
Reports from the roadside villages said that young boys were trying to hold protests outside the ringed villages. latest news from the area suggest that protests were witnessed outside the cordoned villages. This area was cordoned off ealier also when thousands of army and paramilitary forces did the first major crackdown in Shopian recently.
