Social media ban reaches UN

Srinagar: United Nations Special Rapporteur on Free speech David Kaye has been quoted in media that United Nations will raise the issue of social media ban in Kashmir with Government of India. In an interview with Aljazeera.com. He said that they will soon raise the issue and expect that Government of India will respond.
He said that they were in the process of gathering information from Kashmir about the curbs and restrictions on social media sites and on the overall internet. He said that very soon UN will publically raise the issue after gathering all the relevant information from the government of Kashmir.
