Massive fire in Dalgate. 4 houses gutted
Massive fire broke out on Monday afternoon in Drugjan neighborhood near CD Hospital of Dalgate area in Srinagar.
Emergency fire tenders rushed to the spot to bring the fire under control. Eyewitness told Kashmir life that the emergency crew is on work with the assistance of local youth.
Initial reports from the spot revealed that the fire has consumed four structures—all residential houses.
The blaze created chaotic scenes in the area. Women were seen wailing over the loss of property. The families living in the neighbourhood shifted wares and home furniture in the open amidst rising plumes of smoke.
