SRINAGAR: Kashmir valley receives rainfall in plains and a light snowfall in Pahalgam on Saturday. It is till snowing in the tourist destination.

Officials in the MeT department said that isolated rainfall will continue in most parts of the valley till May 8.

Snowfall was also reported from Pahalagam Islamabad district.

The weather is going to improve likely from 9 May, MeT officials predicted.

Jhelum river is flowing normally and there are no tensions on that front.

Police officials from traffic control room said that one-way traffic is plying from Jammu to Srinagar will continue till Monday, the decision was taken due to the Darbar Move convoy.
