Government suspends social media for month.
Srinagar: It is official now as the J&K Government has ordered ban on internet services in entire Kashmir Valley for one month. The order has not mentioned whether the ban includes only mobile internet or all internet providing services here.
“Internet services in Kashmir shall not be permitted to be transmitted for a period of one month,” the government order said. It is in place to mention that authorities suspended internet mobile service partially in Kashmir due to student protests on April 17 and since then this partial ban was continuing.
