Clamor for lifting ban on internet increases
Srinagar: Students and business community in Kashmir have appealed government to revoke ban on the use of internet and have said that it was hindering their activity. The business community said that the government does not want the people of Kashmir to prosper and intermittent ban on the internet services has doomed business.
Similarly, the students of Kashmir valley have also appealed government to revoke ban and understand that the ban on the internet cannot cool the streets of Kashmir. Thy said that the ban was adding fuel to fire and only feeds rumors which in turn feed violence. The government has yet to decide on what would be their future course about the lifting of ban on the internet services in Kashmir. 2G services are working in Kashmir valley and only 4G and 3G have been blocked.
