SSP injured in Srinagar clashes
Srinagar: SSP Srinagar and other police officials were seen clashing with agitating students. In one of such clashes, SSP Srinagar Imtiyaz Ismail Parray was hit by a stone in his right elbow. Police said that SSP was immediately shifted to the hospital for the treatment.
On Monday, students had pitched battles with police on M.A. Road Srinagar and in these clashes both police officials and students were injured. Students resorted to heavy stone-pelting, forcing police to use dozens of tear-smoke shells and pepper gas to disperse them.
