“Mehbooba should step down for peace”
Srinagar: Former union Home Minister P.Chidambaram has in series of tweets over the situation of Kashmir has advocated Governor’s rule as a first step to bring Kashmir out of present mess.He said that there is a growing clamour for central rule and tweeted that if Mehbooba Mufti have to step down to bring peace with her own people so be it.
He has been advocating dialogue with all shades of opinion in Kashmir and has been telling New Delhi not to go for muscular approach to deal with protests in Kashmir. Chidmbaram has called PDP-BJP coalition in J&K State a disaster..
