Deadly Taliban attack leaves over 140 dead

Srinagar: According to different news agencies and new reports, in the deadly attack of Taliban on the Afghan army base in Afghanistan the death toll of army men has gone to over 140 till Saturday afternoon.
News reports said that Taliban militants in a coordinated attack on the army base in Northern Afghanistan inflicted heavy causalities and it is one of the deadliest attacks inflicted by them in the recent past. The government of Afghanistan has only said so far that the soldiers were offering Friday prayers at the time of attack and many of them were either killed or wounded.
