Jammu: five people including a nine-year-old girl was beaten up by self-styled gau rakshaks in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police have registered an FIR and identified five suspects who allegedly intercepted the family when they were moving their livestock, including cows, goats and sheep, through Talwara area.
The injured, who were being treated at a hospital, said their attackers took away their cattle.
