End election drama, respect aspirations: Geelani
Srinagar: Expressing deep concern over the killing of Muzaffar Ahmad of Kulgam who become the 9th killing of by-poll violence in Srinagar Parliamentary segment, Syed Ali Shah Geelani Thursday said that instead of staging drama of election, New Delhi should respect the aspirations of Kashmiris and resolve the issue.
In the same press release Syed Ali Shah Geelani has stressed on the government and Election Commission of India to cancel the by-election Anantnag Parliamentary segment and instead hold referendum in Jammu and Kashmir to allow people to choose their political destiny.
