Internet restored in Kashmir
Srinagar: The administration this evening restored mobile internet service as the re-polling came to an end in the Srinagar Parliamentary segment peacefully. Earlier the government decided to shut internet services in the entire valley to minimize the possibility of ‘misuse of social media’.
On Thursday morning the authorities on the feedback of police and intelligence agencies had suspended broadband internet services. The students and the netizens were seen busy talking about intermittent bans on social media in Kashmir.
