Healthcare services
In order to provide Healthcare services in rural areas, the J & K administration is reviewing the performance of health department periodically.
Recently Director Health Services Jammu, visited Ramban to conduct a comprehensive review of Health Services and functioning of Health Institutions in the district.
The Director also reviewed the progress on infrastructural Development projects sanctioned and taken up under different Schemes, besides discussing preparedness for ensuing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, 2024 at designated sites.
The Director informed that extra efforts are being made at Government, Directorate and district level to strengthen the health infrastructure and services to facilitate patients with modern technology.
He instructed the CMO to prepare a plan to depute adequate doctors and paramedical staff in medical camps at identified locations to facilitate the Yatries during SANJY, 2024 in the district.
The meeting was attended by Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Kamal Je Zadu, Medical Superintendent, Dr. Varinder Trisal and Block Medical Officers of respective blocks of District Ramban.
He reviewed the activities of the health department and enjoined upon the staff to work cordially in implementing all schemes of the health sector successfully on the ground, so that better and accessible health care facilities will be provided to the people in all the 122 Government Health Institutions in the district. He also reviewed the staff position of all health instructions and mechanism of monitoring and surveillance of private labs.
