Digital Initiative: Registration department organizes CBP/ Training session for JK’s Registration staff

SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 03: As part of the capacity building programme (CBP) for digital transformation, the Registration Department organized training and interactive sessions on implementation of e-office for its staff in collaboration with Jammu & Kashmir e-Governance Agency (JaKeGA).

The training programme was organized at Meeting Hall DC office Srinagar here today on the directions of the Secretary Revenue, J&K and was attended by AIGR Kashmir, Sub Registrars of Kashmir Division and their staff.

The e-office aims to enhance transparency, increase accountability, assure data security and data integrity, promote innovation by releasing staff energy and time from unproductive procedures, transform the Government work culture and ethics and promote greater collaboration in the workplace and effective knowledge management.

The technical experts from JaKeGA gave a detailed presentation on the steps involved in operation/usage of e-office, dos and don’ts of the process and troubleshooting tips to ensure on-spot resolution of any technical glitches and errors.

Speaking on the occasion, AIGR Kashmir mentioned that e-office under the National-Governance Plan initiative of the Government of India aims to support governance by ushering in more effective and transparent inter and intra government processes and also stressed upon the participants to make use of this opportunity to clear all their doubts about the use of e-office in routine official business.

On this occasion, the participants expressed profound gratitude to the Department for conducting such brainstorming sessions and expressed hope that such events will be regularly organized in future also.
