Rajouri in focus
The Government of Jammu and Kashmir is giving a lot of attention to Rajouri district in Jammu region so that different developmental projects are completed on time.
Government is trying to improve the lives of people living in Rajouri and many schemes have been launched for their betterment. Recently Divisional Commissioner Jammu reviewed the projects in Rajouri.
He was informed that 443472 beneficiaries have been registered under the scheme. While taking stock of the progress under SBM, against the target of 4658 units, the work on 4100 units is complete. Similarly, while reviewing the progress regarding the construction of a community sanitary complex, the Div Com asked to take appropriate measures for the proper maintenance of the CSC.
He reviewed the progress on various schemes being implemented in the district under Mission Youth and asked the concerned officers to ensure that maximum unemployed and educated youth of the district are covered under these schemes.
He also asked the concerned officer from the RDD to make dedicated efforts to conserve and preserve water and also achieve the targets under the Amrit Sarovar Mission at the earliest.
He instructed the EO MCs to expedite the progress and make sure that the set targets are achieved within the shortest possible time.
He asked the concerned officer to provide better market linkages to the SHGs so that they can sell their products in a hassle free manner.
