According to KNT in its news report regarding this action by the Education Department in Ganderbal it has said in its news report on Saturday as follows.

The school in question is Government High School Sufraw Gund falling under Harianiwan Zone of Kangan town where out of 20 students only 3 qualified in recently declared Class 10 results by the Board of School Education.

Chief Education Officer’s direction came after parents staged a protest alleging that the school has been continuously showing poor performance while the teachers posted in the school have not been transferred for a long time.
