Government mulling to reopen schools as the pandemic recedes

The government of Jammu and Kashmir is mulling to reopen the schools as the Omicron Variant wave has receded in the past few days. LG Manoj Sinha in a recent meeting has also indicated that the educational institutions would be reopened and the students will go for the offline classes.
In a tweet the office of LG Manoj Sinha, “Reviewed Covid situation in J-K. The pandemic situation has improved and we can gradually move ahead for reopening of schools and holding offline classes while ensuring complete adherence to SoPs”.
Earlier while talking to media Manoj Sinha has said that his administration will monitor the Covid situation for next 15 days and if the graph dips further, the administration led by him will discuss the issue and accordingly take a call on reopening of schools in Kashmir.
