ECONOMIC STRENGTH
Economic strength in every society determines the ground situation and for the development economic strength is the key for the success of that society.
In the recent past J&K administration through different central schemes has been trying to change the socio-economic conditions of poor people especially of the tribal people so that they also become a part of success story for the economic strength of Jammu and Kashmir.
Recently LG Manoj Sinha said in a conference that today’s transformation in every sector of the UT has brought economic strength to march towards a golden future.
The J & K administration is making every effort to ensure that benefits of development reach all sections of the society. They have accelerated efforts to improve physical infrastructure in Jammu and Kashmir, special schemes for youth & women to contribute to sustainable development.
He said that after the integration, strengthening of PRIs was one of the major steps taken in the UT, which has ensured greater participation of people in the developmental activities. The delivery system of welfare programs has been made more effective with accountability and transparency in the government machinery.
He said that for 73 years, people in J&K were deliberately deprived of their genuine rights. Some people established a system for their personal and political benefits only, he added. Within two years, the difference can be seen on the ground.
