Covid task force
We cannot lower our guard on the possible spread of covid-19 infection again is a clear message from the JK administration to the people. In the recent past the government has eased most of the restrictions and the onus of responsibility is on the common people to adhere to the sops in order to save themselves from the covid-19 infection.
LG Manoj Sinha is closely monitoring the situation and has again held a meeting of the covid task force in order to get the feedback from his officers about the preparedness to withstand the infection.
In this direction he recently chaired weekly meetings of Covid Task Force, DCs, and SPs on J&Kâs Covid scenario. He asked the administration not to lower guard against Covid-19.
He appealed to people of Jammu and Kashmir to religiously follow all SoPs, Covid Appropriate Behavior with utmost sensitivity and responsibility.
While getting the feedback from the district administration of Jammu and Kashmir, he has ordered to focus on the Blocks with high positivity rate with increased testing & Covid containment measures to contain the spread of the virus.
In order to avoid the spread of the further infection he has asked Nodal officers to check adherence of Covid Protocol at tourist places and public parks.
