Covid-19 second wave has engulfed most of the districts in Jammu and Kashmir and the positive cases on daily basis are only increasing despite restrictions and curfew.

Recently the government said that the mortality rate is likely to remain the same or increase in the next few days. The fatalities in this pandemic wave have been increasing and in Jammu region mortality rate has been high due to the covid-19 infection.

The JK administration has been claiming that they are taking every possible step to contain the spread of the virus, but the common people are full of complaints about how they are being treated in the hospitals.

According to the common people many precious human lives could have been saved due to the covid-19 infection if the government had placed proper mechanisms for the treatment in the hospitals.

The government has further claimed that they have added oxygen beds and ICU beds in the designated covid hospitals of Kashmir valley, but the number of deaths and the complaints of the people show that there is shortage of such facilities in the covid hospitals.

Most of the covid positive patients with mild symptoms in Kashmir valley are under home quarantine and they are not getting any treatment from the covid designated hospitals or from the doctors in virtual mode.
