84 hour long covid curfew being enforced strictly

Srinagar
On Friday police had erected barricades and created drop gates at various places in Srinagar city in order to ensure that there was strict adherence to the covid curfew imposed by the authorities from Thursday evening to Monday morning.
With fatalities increasing, people have responded positively to the government restrictions and most of the streets in Srinagar city were wearing a deserted look.
Most of the transport was off the roads and only the vehicles of essential services and police were seen on the roads of Srinagar.
Earlier Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha has appealed to the people not to panic as the government was fully equipped to deal with the situation.
