STF for employees
Some media reports have suggested that very soon the government is going to show the door to many government employees including some officers; if the recently formed STF will recommend so for them on the basis of investigations.
The Jammu and Kashmir government has said that they will not tolerate any anti-national elements in the rank and file of the administration and the cases are being scrutinized against many Kashmir based government employees for their alleged subversive activities.
While the mainstream parties have questioned the wisdom and timing of the government decision to issue the orders for the same, recent media reports have suggested that very soon action would be taken against many employees.
Amid the second wave of covid-19 infection, the government decided to set up the task force to identify and scrutinize the employees within the administration who pose the threat to national security.
JK administration has taken a lot decisions in the recent past and already a chief secretary led committee is in place to do the final decision making regarding the dismissal, arrest, penalties, demotion etc. For these employees whose cases were recommended by STF.
