Azad in Jammu
Ghulam Nabi Azad has been recently in Jammu and has started his political activities after his retirement from Rajya Sabha as the leader of opposition.
Media reports have suggested that Azad has started his active politics on the ground and is in constant touch with all the party activists in Jammu, Srinagar and Ladakh.
He landed in Jammu and got a huge reception by the Congress workers. With his coming to Jammu, he is being joined by many signatories of the letter to acting Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi asking for reforms and election within the party.
Is Ghulam Nabi Azad going to make a broad based pressure group having its presence in many states especially in North or is he going to make the base by interacting with the Congress workers in different states of North to finally part ways from the Congress is the question being asked by the media circles?
Ghulam Nabi Azad is saying that he is the real Congress and he cannot think of any other party as he has given his whole life for the same party.
When he was asked by a journalist working for a New Delhi based newspaper about his possibility to join BJP after he was praised on the floor of the house by Prime Minister Narendra Modi he ruled out this possibility and said that he is only with Congress.
