Confusion on Srinagar-Jammu highway keep people stranded

On Saturday scores of private vehicles were stranded on Srinagar-Jammu highway because of the confusion about the movement of traffic. While the traffic authorities had allowed the traffic on Saturday from Srinagar to Jammu, however many vehicles were allowed to process to Srinagar from Jammu. While there was only one way traffic allowed by the authorities, the permission for the vehicles to move from both the ends resulted in lot of confusion and also traffic jams at many places on the highway.
People have appealed authorities to allow only the traffic in a fashion as permitted by them and not allow them to have traffic from both the ends which results in lot of confusion and also result in traffic jams which lasts hours.
