This is August 14, 2020, weed is being taken out from Dal Lake manually in Shikaras as it used to be in early 70’s and 80’s. Dal conservation project is in coma as within the lake and outside on its banks people are building houses and other structures with authorities looking other way. Government should focus on the Dal conservation project and utilize all the modern machines procured for crores of rupees for de-weeding and keeping the Dal Lake clean. (Picture by: Tariq Shah)
