PSAJK condoles demise of former chairman Falah-e-Aam Trust, teacher BEI

Private Schools’ Association of Jammu and Kashmir has condoled the demise of Ghulam Mohammed Mir former chairman Falah-e-Aam Trust (FAT) and Mohammed Yousuf Bhat a distinguished teacher at Bilaliya Educational Institute (BEI).

According to statement issued to KNS reads, the Association said that Ghulam Mohammed Mir had dedicated his life for educating the masses. The members remember his work at the FAT, which has around 400 schools and is an important part of PSAJK. “Ghulam Mohammed Mir started as a teacher in the Falah-e-Aam trust and with his knowledge gradually moved up from office administrator to handling entire educational work of the trust. He brought radical changes in the schools which helped in providing modern affordable education to students,” said G N var president PSAJK. “He worked for 30 years in the trust and handled the position of Administrator Education, General Secretary and Chairman. On all of these positions he delivered exemplary service. Even after his retirement in 2015 he monitored number of schools. There is hardly a person who can has contributed so much to education in the entire Association.”

The Association said that the demise of Ghulam Mohammed Mir has created a vacuum as the society has lost an able teacher, administrator, religious scholar and a great human being. Falah-e-Aam trust is a non-political organisation with a singular focus on providing quality and affordable education to children and Ghulam Mohammed Mir did his best to achieve its goals.

Meanwhile the Association also expressed its shock on the demise of distinguished teacher of BEI, Muhammad Yousuf Bhat popularly known as Bhat Sahib. Bhat Shaib left for heavenly abode due to cardiac arrest.

“Bhat Sahib was one of the first teachers of the Bilaliya school since its inception in 2005 and made significant contributions towards the institute. A kind soul of so many wonderful skills, dedicated to his profession, passionate in his purpose, and always a true gentleman and mentor to the students,” said Haji Manzoor Ahmad Wangnoo Chairman Moral & Environmental Committee of PSAJK. “Not only BEI but entire teacher fraternity will remember Bhat Sahib as a great teacher with an outstanding good character and he will remain in our hearts and minds.”
In a condolence meeting the Association prayed for grant of Jannat to the departed souls and courage to the bereaved families to bear this loss. (KNS)
