Village elders save mentally challanged at Kralgund
Timely intervention of village elders saved a mentally challanged person from being thrashed as alleged braid chopper at Kralgund village of kupwara.
Reports said that one person identified by police as Mohd akbar khan an ex army man from another village of kupwara has been roaming around in the village.as soon as youth caught hold of him village elders called police to know about the alleged braid chopper. Police said that he was dismissed from army 8 years back due to mental illness and has been roaming around in many villages.timely intervention of village elders saved him from being thrashed by mob. Joint resistance leadership has appealed people to handover any suspect to masjid or to mohalla committee and not to thrash any person.
