Protests crackdown in Kulgam village
Army repotedly resorted to firing in air to disperse protesting women in Kulgam village on tuesday.
Reports said that in wee hours of Tuesday army cordoned off a village in Kulgam and told all male members to assemble in a local field.reports said that some children were thrashed by army for being in homes.this resulted in protests by women. Army told all male members above the age of ten years to assemble and it resulted in more protests.
When women tried to stop army from thrashing children they repotedly resorted to firing in air .latest reports said that army lifted the cordon after swelling of protests.
