Jhelum dredging to be monitored
The state cabinet on Friday has constituted a committee to monitor the dredging of river Jhelum in the wake of continuous flood threat in Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir. The committee will monitor the process of cleaning river Jhelum from slit and especially after news reports that the company given the contract for the dredging was working very slowly to clean the water body.
