1 lakh apply for police posts
This is the other side of Kashmir unrest while youth are giving a tough time to police on the streets of Kashmir, the same J&K police has received over 1 lakh applications for 5,300 posts of police constables. It has been a routine now from 2008 unrest that police has been recruiting youth into their fold to combat stone pelting. But stone pelting is only increasing and thousands of youth have been employed so far in J&K police.
