With internet ban in force the government could not stop protests at Kupwara near the army camp in which one civilian was killed and 10 others injured similarly district administration of Anantnag has rebutted the rumors that a religious place was desecrated there. The rumors made rounds that a religious place at Mattan was desecrated.
Additional deputy commissioner visited Matan and said that these were all baseless rumors. The District administration of Anantnag has appealed all sections of society not to pay any heed to the rumors
