One of the core group members of PDP told Voice of Valley that PDP has agreed with central government that they will wait and try their best to improve the situation to make it conducive for dialogue with Hurriet. But on the other points of agenda of alliance PDP has stressed on the central government to act without any further delay as it was important to improve the situation on the ground.
Mehbooba Mufti was assured all support by the senior PDP leaders in the core group meeting including the option to withdraw from the coalition with BJP if they continue to maintain “stoic” silence on the implementation of agenda of alliance in J&K state.
According to the PDP insiders Mehbooba Mufti has focused in her meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to get back power projects and to be compensated for the losses J&K state has suffered because of Indus Water Treaty.

Beigh has reportedly told Mehbooba that he will also talk to central leadership of BJP in New Delhi and tell them in clear terms that the coalition can continue if they will show some visible forward movement on agenda of alliance.
PDP insides told Voice of Valley that Mehbooba has called a crucial meeting of PDP legislators at her residence on Gupkar Road on Tuesday evening. The meeting would be attended by all the legislators of the ruling party and she will get a feedback from them about the option of severing ties with BJP in case they will not adhere to agenda of alliance in J&K state. Reports said that Mehbooba Mufti has been assured that all the ministries would be told to expedite the developmental work in J&K state and the forward movement would be monitored at the highest level.
