Police foil Geelani s book release
Police on Sunday sealed the Hyderpora office cum residence of Syed Ali shah Geelani to foil his book release function. Police was not allowing any person to enter or exit from his residence.
Author of dozens of books, Geelani was scheduled to release his book revolving around the poetry of Allama Iqbal. Geelani has been under a house arrest from the past few years and is allowed to move to the hospital or doctors only. Ailing Geelani has huge following among the youth and is regarded as main face of resistance in Kashmir.
