Internet likely to be snapped
Srinagar: Although Director General of J&K Police S.P. Vaid has recently said that he will not like to impose curbs on internet services and social media in Kashmir. He had said that he along with his intelligence agencies will try to block those pages on internet which stoke tension and provoke youth. But the latest reports suggest on Monday afternoon that the authorities after the daylong battles with students in entire Srinagar including girl students have decided to curb internet in Kashmir to restore order. However, the authorities have not confirmed yet whether they will ban the internet partially or totally. Recently Kashmir media fraternity has condemned government for their frequent bans on the use of internet services, adding to their problems to report from this valley.
