Curfew clamped in Kulgam to thwart protests.

Authorities on Monday have imposed a strict curfew in district Kulgam in view of civilian and militant killings in South Kashmir.

Locals said that strict restrictions have been imposed in Kulgam district to thwart the protests.

Meanwhile, restrictions have been imposed throughout Kashmir including Pulwama, Islamabad, Shopian, Srinagar, Sopore, Baramulla, Kupwara, Bandipora.

Thirteen militants and four civilians were killed in three different gunfights in two districts of south Kashmir.

Three army men were also killed during the gunfights.

Over 100 civilians were also injured in various clashes across south Kashmir on Sunday.

Mobile Internet and railway Services were also suspended following the encounters.

Educational institutes are also closed as a preventive measure.
