BSF trooper killed schools closed in Jammu

Police said on Thursday morning that a head constable of BSF was killed in the overnight unprovoked shelling by the pakistani troops on the international border in RS Pora. He has been identified as head constable A.Suresh of Tamil Nadu from the 78th battalion of BSF. As the shelling was going on in the RS Pora and other sectors on Thursday morning, authorities have ordered closing of schools located near the international border in five kilometre radius in Jammu to avoid any mishap.
District authorities of the Jammu have told media that they were ready to shift villagers to the safer places if the need arises. RS Pora sector was silent for sometime and renewed cross border shelling has brought fresh wave of panic and fear among the villagers and especially among school going children.
