IGP Traffic visits National Highway

Due to triggering of land slides national highway between Jammu and Srinagar continues to be partially open only ,forcing the Government to look for remidies.In this connection on wednesday IGP Traffic J&K paid a visit to Modh Passi (Udhampur) and other areas of the NHW , During the visit, the officer interacted with the officials of concerned road maintenance agencies engaged in the restoration work, especially at Modh Passi. The concerned officials of the road maintenance agencies present at the work sites were emphasized for early completion of restoration work so that smooth flow of traffic on the NHW is ensured. They were also urged to make all out efforts in making the NHW worthy for two-way traffic.
