Seven pilgrims killed, unprecedented attack on Yatra in Kashmir

Multiple ambushes in south Kashmir on police and security vehicles Monday evening has left seven pilgrim’s dead and 14 others injured some of them seriously. Police has confirmed death of 7 Yaris and said that some more were very critical.
Although CRPF said that they have rushed two battalions to the area of attack I n south Kashmir, but it seems a huge security lapse. Central government even before the start of Yatra said that they have taken all the security measures including pumping 1000 of additional security forces for the protection of Yatris. Many news agencies carried stories that union home ministry sidelined Mehbooba Mufti government for the safety of Yatris and were directly monitoring the Yatra.
Dr Farooq Abdullah GHULAM NABI AZAD, all the former CM’s of J&K SATE have condemned the attack on Amarnath Yatra and have described it as tragic and terrible. PDP minister Nayeem Akhtar told a news channel that MILLITANT HAVE BECOME DESPERATE after their government has killed dozens of them in the past few months.
The central government including NSA Ajit Doval were monitoring the situation on ground post Amarnath Yatris attack in Kashmir all the senior police officers and top brass of CRPF have rushed to Anantnag to fell the ground near the site of attack. Fearing rumors to make rounds authorities have suspended internet services again. Entire Huriyat leadership has condemned the attack. Panther’s party and VHP have called for Jammu band tomorrow.
